FEES FOR
THE 2023-2024 SEASON.
The White Wolf Snowmobile Club is part of the Labrador Winter Trails system that also includes two other snowmobile clubs in Labrador, the Grand River Snowmobile Club in the upper Lake Melville area and the Basque Whalers Snowmobile Club in the Labrador Straits area. LWT has been the organization that goes to the Government departments to secure funding for groomers and equipment, garages and for trail building and maintenance. They are also the organization that is responsible for trail passes in Labrador. Each club has a representative on the LWT board. Over the past few years, the staff and executive of the Club has managed to keep costs way down, yet we need to have funds to operate and the start of the season is our biggest expense. We hire two employees to prepare the equipment and do preventative maintenance, which helps to ensure that there are no major expenses or repairs during the season. This has paid off for us as last year we had no major expenses. The amount of grooming to be done for the season also depends on knowing the number of members we have. By buying your pass early, we are able to better plan the schedule of grooming.
