****The White Wolf Snowmobile Club board would like to respond to the Labrador Winter Trails Public Announcement that was printed in the Aurora on December 3rd to provide clarification to our membership of the current situation.
The White Wolf Snowmobile Club has not and will not be part of any illegal sales of trail passes. The club is selling White Wolf Snowmobile Club Memberships, which many clubs in this area have. These memberships are funding the start-up operations for the 2012-2013 snowmobile season, these operations include groomer maintenance and employee wages.
Currently, the White Wolf Snowmobile Club is in a dispute with the Labrador Winter Trails Inc. regarding the trail fees for the 2010-2012 seasons. When this disagreement is resolved and the club receives the Government issued trail passes they will be distributed to the membership.
We apologize for any false impressions that the recent public announcement has caused. The White Wolf Snowmobile Club board has nothing but the best interest of our members in mind and we hope to have a resolution to this matter before the New Year.
If there are any questions or comments please email manager@white-wolf.net so our volunteer board of directors can respond. You can also comment on our website www.white-wolf.net/ and check us out on Facebook.
