Enforcement has been stepped up on our trails. Trail passes are required by law on groomed trails and the fine for using the trails without a trail pass starts at $150 in addition to being required to purchase and produce your pass to the enforcement agency who issued the ticket.
If you use the trails, please help with the upkeep of them by purchasing a trail pass and club membership. Maintaining the trails is expensive and the cost should shared by ALL who use them. Thank you to all the snowmobilers who support the trails every year. The best part of the snowmobiling is yet to come. Ride safe.

Please be advised that the access road to the silica mine has been cleared for road traffic. Snowmobilers should use extreme caution when using the Ironstone Loop on the town end of the trail.

Just a note to inform our members that we are working toward getting the trails open to Ashuanipi and Esker in the very near future. A couple of attempts have been made but we were hampered by weather. These trails will be ready and groomed to perfection in the near future. The best snowmobiling is still ahead.

Thanks for your patience.

Anyone using the culvert to cross from little Wabush to big Wabush should do so with extreme caution. A snowmobiler reported a large hole in the ice close to the center of the culvert.

We would like to have some volunteers to put out some signage and trail markers.

If you are interested in helping out a little perhaps you could stop by the club and pick up a few trail markers or signs and put them up in areas where needed. We appreciate your help. Thanks.

The WWSC is looking for people Monday to Friday daytime to help out on the trails. We need people willing to put up signage, bring wood to chalets and other odd jobs. If interested come to club anytime during the week and speak with Keith Olford or Harold Clark, they will be able to provide specifics.
