Friday Dec. 28, 2012:: We are presently having some issues regarding the highway crossing on the Wabush Highway and hope to have something nailed down on that soon. Work on the new crossing which was supposed to have been completed this fall was not completed and we have been told that it will not be completed for this season. A road crossing was approved by the Dept. of Transportation and Works who put up the appropriate signage etc. Unfortunately we have not been able to use that crossing due...

****The White Wolf Snowmobile Club board would like to respond to the Labrador Winter Trails Public Announcement that was printed in the Aurora on December 3rd to provide clarification to our membership of the current situation.

The White Wolf Snowmobile Club has not and will not be part of any illegal sales of trail passes. The club is selling White Wolf Snowmobile Club Memberships, which many clubs in this area have. These memberships are funding the start-up operations for the 2012-2013...

The WWSC is happy to let all members know that everything is coming together for our new season. 3 of the groomers are prepped and ready for the snow. The 4th groomer is still waiting on parts but we are confident it will be ready to go soon. So lets bring on the snow and ice!! Also just a reminder that this years membership is increased to $125, an increase of $12, to help offset increasing operating costs.

There will be a general meeting on Tuesday Dec 4th to elect 3 positions on the executive. There are 2 director positions and a vice president position to be filled. All members please attend.

We have to raise a little more money this year to offset operating cost increases..wages,fuel,etc. So for your trail pass and membership the cost is $125 tax included. With the membership comes a White Wolf decal, trail map and membership card.

Memberships for the upcoming 2012-2013 snowmobile season have arrived. They are on sale the clubhouse. The clubhouse is open Monday to Friday 8-4, closed for lunch from 12-1. There are also tickets on sale on a four wheeler and snowplow.

We will be hosting a general membership meeting next Thursday, November 15th at 8:00pm at the snowmobile club. Memberships will be available for purchase as well as tickets on a four wheeler with snowplow.

We hope to get a large turnout to discuss several important issues for the upcoming season. Please spread the word around and try to get out as many members and potential new members as we can.
